Thakur awarded prestigious fellowship for Ph.D. students in electrical engineering
12/7/2015 - Yash Thakur, an electrical engineering Ph.D. student from Himachal Pradesh, India, has been awarded a $5,000 fellowship from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society (IEEE DEIS). He is one of only three recipients in the world to receive this honor for the 2015-16 academic year. Read more »

9/4/2015 – Weihua Guan is an assistant professor in electrical engineering. He joined EECS in January 2015. He received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China; a master’s degree in microelectronics and solid-state electronics from Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China; and master of science, master of philosophy and doctorate degrees in electrical engineering from Yale University.
